Start your day with a convenient pickup from central Auckland or meet us directly at Piha, just a 40-minute drive from Auckland.

Into the Wilderness

Once you arrive in Piha, the journey starts with a scenic 35-minute walk through lush rainforest, leading you to the canyon’s entrance.

A Day Full of Adventure

We provide full-length wetsuits, harnesses, and helmets. Our trips start with an introduction to the fundamentals of abseiling and a comprehensive safety briefing. This helps you hone your techniques and gain confidence before the adventure begins. Prepare to descend through the canyon with a series of abseils, the most exhilarating of which is a 50-meter drop. Navigate a narrow volcanic gorge, discovering hidden pools, caves, and jumps along the way.

Refresh and Relax

Lunch and refreshments are provided mid-way through the canyoning descent. After a short walk out of the canyon, we'll return to base to change. To top off the day, we visit Piha’s iconic black sand surf beach and Lion Rock before heading back to Auckland.
