Travel along the sand-swept shore of Ninety Mile Beach in our purpose-built coach. Climb the massive sand dunes at Te Paki Stream and experience the thrill of sand-boarding.

Stand at the northernmost point of New Zealand and drink in the panoramic views. Throughout the day your local driver guide will provide an entertaining and thought-provoking insight into the culture, history and natural wonders of the Far North.

Meeting Point

Main departure is from Paihia: Explore Office, Maritime Office Paihia Wharf. 

Please be at your designated pick up point at pick up time.

To arrange a change of pick-up please contact us at least 24 hours before departure.(contact phone number on your ticket)

Pick ups can also be arranged for Kerikeri, Taipa and more on demand by contacting the supplier at least 24 hours before departure. 

If departing from Russell, you must catch the 7.00am ferry from the Russell Wharf. Tickets can be purchased on board or at the Russell ticket office.

Additional Information

We recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes, warm clothes, sunscreen and camera. We also recommend a spare pair of shorts and t-shirt for sand boarding.
Please feel free to bring snacks and cold drinks on board, we do stop for morning and afternoon tea stops (own expense) Lunch is included.

Dress to the weather conditions and wear footwear appropriate for moderate walking
Bring a change of clothes for sandboarding
Please advise dietary requirements when booking
Itinerary, travel on Ninety Mile Beach and sandboarding is subject to tides and weather conditions

You are welcome to bring a water bottle, additional snacks and non-alcoholic drinks to consume throughout the day
