Explore the distinctly different landscape including the cascading Owharoa waterfall, gold mining sites and the pièce de résistance, a 1100-metre railway tunnel.
Enjoy lunch on us at the historic Waikino Station Cafe before continuing to the goldmione town of Waihi.
Get the inside story as you rattle the drill, crank the handles, push the plunger and become immersed in the interactive activities at the Waihi Gold Discovery Centre before shuttling back to Paeroa.
