Express Wine Tour and Māori Culture Wānaka

Experience this one-of-a-kind wine tasting with a fascinating Māori culture spin! Learn
about Māori history and their experiences of this region while sampling many wonderful
wines. Of the wineries listed we will visit 2, if you have a preference please let me know. This is a relaxing, educational and entertaining wine tour via visiting 2-3 vineyards, that also embraces history (Māori footprint leading into the Gold Rush 1860's), the whenua/land of our beautiful region and and the beautiful wines of our Central Otago region. If you can't see suitable availability, please send me a message and I'll see what I can do to host you. We depart Wānaka at either 11:00am, with the Māori greeting the Hongi and the importance in establishing the connection with you the guest and the Māori people of New Zealand and the land, then with a 5 minute drive to Rippon Vineyard where the view will take your breath away where a selection of Pinot Noir, Gris, Sav Blanc, Rose and more will be in tasting through the day. The first winery being Rippon or Aitkens Folly, Maude winery or Māori Point vineyard for more tasting our drive back to Wānaka and your accommodation. Along this tour you will get an insight into the Māori footprint and history from many hundreds of years ago of the beautiful Otago region along with combining the wonderful present being the beautiful wines of this region. To give you the authentic New Zealand experience all tastings and transfers are included. There is a minimum of 2 guests per experience required.
