Martinborough Wine Tour

A day to remember full of good food, wine and plenty of laughs. Price includes wine tasting fees and lunch with a glass of wine.

After picking you up from your location of choice at 9.30am, we travel leisurely through the Hutt Valley and on to the Rimutaka Ranges. 

Passing through the quiet town of Featherston, we head east to Martinborough in the Wairarapa through typical rural New Zealand countryside so you'll see plenty of sheep, cattle and deer.

With a wide choice of wineries, over the day we sample some award winning wines, including the Pinot Noirs that the region is renowned for. You will experience informative insights from some of the region's wine experts, many of whom are entertainers in their own right. 

Some of our favourites include Palliser Estate, Schubert wines, Margrain Vineyard, Te Kairanga Winery and Luna Estate.

We drop in on one of the local wineries before lunch for a tasting to get us underway.  

Then its on to lunch at Poppies Winery with a platter of local delicacies washed down with a complimentary glass of wine. 

After lunch the wine tasting tour continues with another 2-3 wineries or alternatively a coffee stop and some shopping can be arranged in nearby Greytown. The choice is yours.

We return you to Wellington at 4.30pm relaxed and better off for your winery experience - and possibly with some take-home samples in your bag.
