Full Description
Enjoy a stunning 50 min boat journey from Te Anau Downs across Lake Te Anau before stepping ashore at Glade Wharf, ready to explore the Milford Track.
Once you've arrived at the Glade Wharf, the track weaves through thick native beech forest and alongside the gin-clear Clinton River. It won't be long until you see the famously photographed swing bridge. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for snippets of the Fiordland mountains peeking through and listen for the birds; you might spot a few along the way. Lunch at Clinton Hut, the first hut on the DOC multi-night walk then back to meet the boat at 4pm, arriving back at Te Anau Downs 5pm.
