Westland Wonderland 40 minute HELIMAX movie

James Scott and Videographer Dean Trolle have combined to create the most amazing and visually stunning videography of South West New Zealand. From the White Herons of the Waitangiroto Nature Reserve to the wildlife of predator free Open Bay Islands off the Haast coastline. Some unbelievable scenery exists beyond Haast, down through the Cascade (on the edge of Fiordland National park) with the uniquely crimson colour of the Red Hills, so vastly different from their surrounding landscape. Westland Wonderland is the new masterpiece to adorn the huge HELIMAX screen at Franz Josef Cinema.

Franz Josef Cinema has been outfitted with a top of the line NEC digital movie projector (the very same you would experience at many of New Zealand’s busiest and largest movie theatres). Movie goers can now experience crystal clear scenery thanks to the digital technology of NEC, including state of the art surround digital sound. Franz Josef Cinema in the Alpine Adventure Centre has a new lease of life with daily screenings of “Westland Wonderland” on the hour from 10AM.
