Take a short 15 minutes boat ride across Lake Te Anau to Brod Bay and the Kepler Track, where a number of walking tracks are available to you. Enjoy a leisurely 2.5 hour walk from Brod Bay back to Te Anau by the lakefront, or follow the Kepler Track for a steady 5-6 hour hike to the Luxmore Hut.

For the adventurous hikers, you have the option to hike to the summit of Mt Luxmore for the stunning scenic views, allowing 7-8 hours return, with all options including return transport from Brod Bay back across Lake Te Anau to the Te Anau township.
