Full Description
The Albatross Encounter tour offers an "up close view" of Kaikoura's inspiring range of seabirds and in particular, the majestic albatross. Regarded as the "albatross capital of the world", simply because of the diversity of albatross species that can be found in one compact location so close to shore; the sightings that are typically viewed on our tour will not disappoint. In just 2.5 hours you will see an array of different species which is impressive, providing superb photography opportunities to create special memories of your tour experience. Informative and factual comentary provided by our experienced birding specilaists is also a highlight. Tours operate daily except Christmas day and advance bookings are recommended.
